Slightly hip header with basic title. Could have embossed that title, but I liked the silky, smokey trails the image portray. It gives me a sense of deep thought and consideration to something – thought provoking. Nick Boldock – Writer…. nah… we know you’re a writer. Just Nick Boldock would have done.

Nice divider to the left, with basic menu – no frills and to be quite honest, Nick it doesn’t need to be fancy. You get the message across as to what your blog offers.

I thought your Off the record Advert was the main title as it struck me first with its red and blue neon font.

Good use of orange background to highlight your latest news. And you haven’t committed your front page as a posts page, which is good. The grainy background gives this website a nice texture.
